What Is Studio RÉN?

Studio RÉN is an online custom bridal studio that designs and produces made-to-measure wedding dresses around each bride’s measurements, body proportions, and design vision.

Before production begins, the gown is previewed on a bride-specific 3D avatar so the bride can review silhouette, neckline placement, waist position, bodice structure, fabric direction, and overall proportion before fabric is cut.

Fit Review Before Production

The 3D preview helps review neckline scale, waist placement, bodice support, skirt volume, fabric behavior, and proportion before the gown is made.

Five-star rating for Bride’s Studio RÉN experience

"Working with Studio REN was such a special experience. I created two custom wedding dresses. A maxi gown for the ceremony and a mini dress for the party. I loved being able to explore different silhouettes and styles through sketches until we found the exact designs I had in mind. When the dresses arrived, I only needed very minor alterations, and because they were shipped ahead of time, I felt calm. Both dresses turned out exactly as I had envisioned, and I was so happy with the whole experience." - Ella

The Problem Studio RÉN Solves

Making the Right Custom Wedding Dress Online Shouldn’t Feel Like Guesswork

Most Dresses Aren’t Built Around Your Unique Body

Most wedding dresses start from standard sizing or sample proportions, which can miss torso length, bust placement, waist height, shoulder slope, and overall balance.

Traditional Custom Requires Repeated Fittings

Many custom bridal processes depend on multiple in-person fittings to discover fit and proportion issues after the design is already moving forward.

Online Dress Options Lack Clarity and Confidence Before Production

Most online options ask brides to commit before they can see how the silhouette, neckline, bodice structure, fabric behavior, and skirt volume will work on their body.

CUSTOM WEDDING DRESS FAQ

Questions About Ordering a Custom Wedding Dress Online

Answers from Studio RÉN about online custom wedding dress design, pricing, timelines, measurements, 3D previews, fit, alterations, returns, and worldwide delivery.

+ Can I order a custom wedding dress online without in-person fittings? Yes. Studio RÉN designs and produces made-to-measure custom wedding dresses through a fully online process. It begins with the free Preview My Gown submission and a free 30-minute online consultation, followed by design development, revisions, design-specific measurements, bride-specific 3D gown previews, written approval, atelier production, and worldwide delivery. Minor local alterations may still be needed after delivery, as they can be with a gown purchased through a bridal boutique.

+ Is the Studio RÉN initial gown preview and consultation free? Yes. Submitting Preview My Gown and the initial 30-minute online consultation are free. There is currently no $89 consultation or gown-preview fee. After Studio RÉN reviews your submission, you will receive an email titled “Your Studio RÉN Gown Preview Submission” from operations@studiorenofficial.com to schedule the consultation and discuss your design, budget, wedding date, and timeline. The initial preview is exploratory and can be revised before the design is finalized.

+ Can Studio RÉN design a custom wedding dress from Pinterest photos, reference images, or a sketch? Yes. Pinterest pins, saved wedding dress images, sketches, and written notes can all help communicate your preferred silhouette, neckline, sleeves, fabric, structure, coverage, embellishment, and overall mood. Studio RÉN uses your references to develop an original design around your vision and measurements rather than copying another designer’s gown exactly. Clear notes about what you love, and what you do not want, help produce a more useful initial design direction.

+ How much does a custom wedding dress cost online? Studio RÉN custom wedding dresses start around $3,000. Clean or structured custom gowns generally fall between approximately $3,000 and $5,500. Complex gowns with specialty fabrics, extensive internal structure, lace placement, beadwork, hand embellishment, multiple layers, or dramatic trains generally cost $5,500 to $9,500 or more. The final quote is based on the approved design and includes the agreed design development, custom sizing, measurement-based 3D previews, fabric approval, production, progress updates, and standard shipping. Rush service, post-approval design changes, veils, accessories, second looks, local alterations, and destination taxes or duties are not included unless specifically stated in the signed quote.

+ How long does it take to make a custom wedding dress? Studio RÉN recommends beginning 9 to 12 months before the wedding. A standard custom wedding dress timeline is generally 6 to 9 months, depending on design complexity, fabric availability, atelier capacity, approval timing, and destination. Approximately six months is normally the shortest accepted timeline. A gown may be possible in less than six months only when the design and production schedule are suitable for rush service. Studio RÉN aims for the finished gown to arrive about one month before the wedding, with approximately two weeks as the minimum intended alteration buffer.

+ Can I see a 3D preview of my wedding dress before it is made? Yes. Brides who proceed with their gown receive updated design previews and measurement-based 3D simulations on a bride-specific avatar before production. These previews help review the silhouette, neckline placement, waist position, bodice structure, skirt volume, train, design details, and overall proportion before fabric is cut. A 3D preview supports design and proportion review, but it is not a physical fitting and cannot guarantee that no local alterations will be needed. Final design approval is completed before production begins.

+ Will a custom wedding dress made online fit without in-person fittings? A made-to-measure gown can be developed remotely by combining accurate measurements, photographs, proportion analysis, design-specific pattern decisions, technical fit review, 3D previews, and written approval. Measurements can be taken by a local tailor or provided using Studio RÉN’s self-measuring kit and instructions. Video guidance is also available. Studio RÉN brides have generally reported only minor adjustments, such as shortening the hem. Local alterations are not included in the gown price. If the gown appears not to match the approved measurements, design, or construction specifications, contact Studio RÉN before making alterations. The studio will review photographs, video, and updated measurements and determine the appropriate case-specific resolution.

+ Can I return, exchange, or cancel a custom wedding dress? If the contract is signed but no payment has been transferred, the bride may cancel without a cancellation fee. Once full payment has been transferred and production has been authorized, cancelling before completion carries a cancellation fee equal to 70% of the gown price, and 30% is refunded. Once completed, the gown is a final-sale custom garment and cannot be returned or exchanged because it was designed for one bride and made to her measurements. This does not replace the review process if a finished gown differs from the approved measurements, design, or construction specifications because of a confirmed Studio RÉN or atelier error. The signed client agreement and applicable law control the exact terms.

+ Does Studio RÉN ship custom wedding dresses worldwide? Yes. Studio RÉN ships custom wedding dresses worldwide wherever reliable and legally available delivery service exists. Final-gown shipments are tracked, insured, and signature-required. Standard shipping is included in the signed gown quote. If a completed gown is unusually heavy or expedited delivery becomes necessary, Studio RÉN will notify the bride and obtain payment for the additional shipping amount before dispatch. The bride is responsible for customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, and other destination charges.
